Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@newyorkstay.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

With less than 14 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance
With less than 7 days to arrival date 75% of the total remaining balance
With Less than 24 hours or no prior notice / No show: 100% of the total balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

Neighbourhood

Near lots of beautiful community gardens and parks. Also, close to many new clubs and bars but located on quiet block.Recreation center and Olympic size pool(only available during summer months) are right around the corner. It takes 12 minutes to walk to the F train entrance at Houston and 1st Ave(this stop is called the 2nd Ave stop), and 20 minutes to walk to the Delancy St. F train.The faster of the 2 in terms of train traffic is the 1st and Houston. All off the buses are steps away. The 14D bus comes every 3-4 minutes, the M9 bus comes every 15 minutes, and the M21 bus comes every 1/2 hour. If you are very organized, you can take the M21 bus to the 2nd Street F train.

Very large kitchen with stainless steal appliances. Lots of counter space, and cupboard space. Great if you like to cook.

Beds & Bathrooms

2 bedrooms. One is a bit bigger and has a really comfy queen size bed. The other room has a full size bed. There is also a pull out trundle bed that is under the couch. It sleeps 2 people or maybe 3 little kids. I also have a camping mat that sleeps one and a blow up mattress that sleeps one in case you have a large party. However, the set up of having 8 people is best for college age people or big families.

Nespresso Machine and complimentary espresso pods. Pay per use laundry facilities in basement, roof top(must take elevator and stairs to get to the roof), Patio(must go to basement level to get to patio). Fun neighborhood and Lower East side steps away. Citi Bike rental stand right around the corner

Special Requirements

*I no longer require a deposit, but I do require my guests to purchase a low-cost property damage protection plan. You pay the insurance company directly once you have made a confirmed reservation I will give you the information you need to move forward after you have paid the initial prepayment of 15% of the total booking cost to NewYorkStay. There is no deductible with this insurance, and if something gets damaged, you do not have to be afraid to tell me. :) We will just make a claim. :) *I also require all guests to sign a contract and am happy to provide you with a copy of it and the terms we need to agree to before booking. I think you will agree that the contract is fair and reasonable.
