For a Half Day

If you fancy escaping the city for a while below are some  ideas for a half or a full day  excursions.

Coney Island:  What a great name, when growing up as kids one would always hear of this place and see it in the movies, Coney Island, one would imagine  this place filled with so many fun things to do and dreaming of being here.  Coney island is just 45 minutes from Broadway by subway tube (Lines B, D, F or N and get off at Stillwell Avenue), in south Brooklyn, Coney Island is a very famous and popular escape for New Yorkers as well as tourists alike as it offers a lovely stretch of beach and many famous and historical amusement parks and as well as theses Coney island also offers many other major attractions including the New York Aquarium and the world's tallest Ferris wheel ''The wonder wheel'' and not to mention some of the world's best hot dog stands situated along the world famous boardwalk  a seaside treat for generations.



For a Whole Day
A great full day excursion can be had at Long Island: located to the east of New York City, Long Island has some of the world's most beautiful white sandy beaches.
The north and south shores differ greatly. The south shore is fringed by almost continuous sandy shores, including such public beaches as Jones Beach and gay-oriented Fire Island National Seashore just a short  ferry ride away.


Day Excursion by Train to Washington DC
A day trip to Washington DC and experience  the capital for your self .
