Refund Policy for Host and Property Owners

Refund Policy

  • If a guest is moved to a different accommodation without their approval, an appropriate refund will be issued. 
  • In the event that any of the advertised facilities is not available for any portion of the stay, NewYorkStay.com has the authority to withhold payment to the host and will decide the amount to be refunded. The refund will take into account the duration and severity of the malfunction and how it was dealt with by the host. 
  • Heating,plumbing,including hot and cold water, sinks, showers and toilets, oven and cooker, air conditioning, wireless internet, cable television, washer/dryer, doors, windows and locks should all be fully functioning and all bedding and towels should be clean and fresh, otherwise a partial refund may be made to the guest. 
  • Should there be rats or mice present in the apartment , this would warrant a refund. 
  • It is also important that the guest be made aware in advance of any construction in a building. 
  • Please remember that as a host on NewYorkStay.com, your listing must be a clear depiction of the property and amenities provided.
  • Pictures on a listing must be up-to-date and should mirror any changes to the furnishings.
